West Moonah Community Preschool is situated in the grounds of the West Moonah Community House in Springfield Avenue West Moonah.
We operate Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays with sessions running from 9am to 2.30pm.
Our group size is up to a maximum of 16 children with two Early Childhood Educators.
Our program runs in line with the Early Years Learning framework focusing on children meeting development milestones, school readiness, independence, confidence, self-regulation, creativity and a love of learning in a supportive environment.
We also offer specialist sessions in music, yoga, gymnastics, gardening and an excursion per term.
Our Preschool is registered with the Department of Education and licensed under the Child Care Unit licensing regulations Act.
We aim to seek grant funding to assist vulnerable or at risk families with their fee payments.
We pay respect to the traditional and original owners of this land the muwinina (mou wee nee nar) people
to pay respect to those that have passed before us and to acknowledge today’s
Tasmanian Aboriginal people who are the custodians of this land.
